About Downloads
The links in this drop-down menu access downloads from different locations on this website - downloads on the website have been centralized to this menu. The downloads can also be found in the Free section to the left. The Data Sources folder in the Free sections contains links to offsite free GIS data sources (imagery and more). The GloVis Next link on the top menu is an offsite USGS free imagery download source for Landsat, Sentinel-2, and more. Downloads are in a compressed file format; after uncompressing, they can be opened in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS. Using the downloads is an easy way to get familiar with imagery or elevation data.
